This short 3 days Gorilla trekking safari gives you a unique experience touring Gorillas in their biggest habitat in Uganda, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a big habitat for Mountain Gorillas harboring over 200 of them. The park is located in the South West of Uganda
On this tour, you will fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park on the first day. On the second day you will take the trek to see the gorillas in Bwindi and on the third day, fly back to Entebbe, completing your adventure packed once in a life time Gorilla Tracking experience.
This is a rare opportunity to visit some of the World’s last tracts of primeval forest – it is virtually untouched and retains an awe-inspiring collection of endangered flora and fauna.

Note: Due to lack of suitable accommodations options in Ruhija, it is possible to track gorillas while staying in Buhoma area. Transfer charges are extra and driving time is approximately 1.5 hours each way.

Important Notes on Gorilla Permits
Gorilla Permits are US$700 per person per trek.
Once purchased, gorilla permits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
There is a minimum age of 15 years for gorilla treks.
Additional Gorilla Permits must be pre-booked / paid if gorilla tracking on the additional (optional) day.
All Gorilla Permits need to be purchased at the time of booking or a deposit equivalent to 35% of the cost of the safari paid, whichever is higher.
Gorilla viewing is subject to availability of permits, which are limited.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Entebbe to Bwindi
Starting from Entebbe take the 07:00 am or 10:15 am or 12:30 pm flight to Kihihi/Kisoro (Approximately 1 hour 15 mins to 2 hours). Met on arrival by your expert guide who will provide you with local information and assistance throughout your trip. You will then transfer to your lodge. Lunch is included (depending on arrival time). The afternoon will be spent relaxing and recharging for the adventure or time allowing visit the local village before dinner.
Day 2 – Bwindi Forest
Enjoy an early breakfast, then attend a pre-briefing on the trek at approximately 07:30 a.m. You will be given tips and chance to share your expectations plus air any questions you may have bout the gorilla trekking activity that you are just about to embark on. You will set off no later than 8:30 am accompanied by your guide and armed rangers, through the steep, densely forested hills in search of Mountain Gorillas. Tracking in the Bwindi Forest requires stamina and a level of fitness and can often take most of the day but observing the gorillas in their natural habitat is awe inspiring.
Day 3 – Bwindi Forest
Breakfast at lodge then transfer to the airstrip for either the 10.55 am or 14.05 pm flight out of Kihihi or 08:25 am flight out of Kisoro, back to Entebbe.
